The New York Times has a new feature that lets you look up how many parking tickets your hood incurred over the past year. According to the site, "New York City agencies issued 9,955,441 parking tickets from July 2007 to June 2008."
My block, Park Terrace East and 215th Street, received 371 over that period. It left me wondering how many of those tickets were written to a certain Assembly Member who lives down the block from me and insists on parking illegally in the rotunda at the end of Park Terrace East and Isham Park.

Some of those were probably mine, I'm sure. But that Assembly Member's car always burns me when I see it sitting there. And if my bumper is over that freakin' sign by an inch I get a ticket!
